This is an antique hand knotted rugs from the infamous village of Heriz in northwest Iran. The rug has a traditional geometric all over pattern. It is made with natural wool colored with natural dyes on a cotton foundation. It is rare to find  ivory color base background.The rug is in very good condition.Ca,1910.
